PRIVACY POLICY

Mallards Rebates is built privacy-first. Here's what that actually means.

· What we collect

Receipt data you scan or upload stays on your device. We do not upload receipt images, PDFs, or parsed line items to our servers during the beta. Everything lives in local iPhone storage (AsyncStorage) and, if you pair a Print Agent, flows over your own LAN — never through us.

Email address if you join the waitlist or request TestFlight access. We use this to send the invite and critical service updates. No marketing drip.

Crash & diagnostic data via Apple TestFlight — standard stack traces and device model, no PII. You can opt out in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

· What we do NOT collect

We don't have analytics, trackers, or ad pixels. The marketing site doesn't set any cookies. We don't know who you are unless you email us.

· Third parties

Apple (TestFlight, App Store, push), Vercel (hosts this website), and your email provider. That's it.

· If we ever add cloud sync

It will be opt-in, end-to-end encrypted, and you'll get a giant pop-up explaining what it does before you turn it on.
