HOW MALLARDS
WORKS.
From a receipt in your hand to 11% back at Menards. Five steps. Zero paperwork.
SNAP IT THE MOMENT YOU WALK OUT
Paper receipt? Hit the + button, line it up in the yellow viewfinder, tap. We OCR every line item, SKU, and the rebate barcode. Online order? Drop in the email PDF — we parse it the same way.
WE RECONSTRUCT A CARBON COPY
Menards rejects receipts that are crumpled, faded, or torn. So we rebuild a clean, machine-readable version with the same trans ID, barcode, and rebate number — mail-ready every time.
STACK THEM. TRACK THE DEADLINE.
The home screen shows every active rebate and how many days you have left to mail it in. We highlight anything urgent in red. Swipe left to turn one in. Forget it? We nag you before it expires.
BULK-PRINT TO A RECEIPT PRINTER
When you have a stack ready, tap SELECT → pick the ones to print → PRINT QUEUE. The Mallards Print Agent on your computer spits them out on 80mm thermal paper with cut lines between each one.
FOLD, STAMP, MAIL. COLLECT THE CREDIT.
Stuff them in an envelope, drop it in a mailbox. Menards processes in 3-6 weeks and mails you a Merchandise Credit Check — paper credit you spend at Menards, not a bank check you cash. Scan it in when it arrives, and the app stamps TURNED IN.
Menards’ rebate policy states that copied, reprinted, or duplicate rebate receipts will not be accepted. If you choose to mail a reprint instead of the original, you do so at your own risk. Mallards Rebates is not responsible for denial of reprinted receipts.
WHAT YOU NEED
- · An iPhone (iOS 16+). The TestFlight build works on anything from a 12 mini up.
- · A thermal receipt printer (optional but recommended). Any 80mm USB printer — we've tested EPSON TM-T20 / TM-M30, Star TSP100. ~$180 new, ~$40 used on eBay.
- · The Mallards Print Agent (free download). Runs on Mac, Windows, or Linux.
- · Stamps + envelopes. Menards still uses paper mail. We can't fix that, but we can make the rest easy.
